This week, Oliver reflects on Contact Energy’s $525 million capital raising and how expensive the wider push into developing new renewable generation is going to be – looks like a growth opportunity for the companies typically held for their reliable income.

Meanwhile, different treatments on the legal stoush by SkyCity Entertainment Group and Fletcher Building had Oliver diving into the weeds of accounting standards and just what the word probably means.

Annual meetings for NZ King Salmon Investments and Tower ushered in some changes at the respective companies, while Reserve Bank governor Anna Breman is playing monetary policy with a very straight bat indeed.
